Our Story

The Woods Childcare Center introduces children to different learning experiences that allow them to explore their self-awareness and gain a sense of the world around them. We believe that children need a variety of teaching styles because all children learn in different ways so, why not include them all while in the childcare setting?

Our Weekly learning adventures include hands-on experiences, Montessori-style activities, STEM projects, Circle Time, Physical Activity, and Tech Time (learning apps on the tablets and/or in our computer lab). Children will also experience traditional learning as well. (ABC, counting, writing, art, and story time). We love that our center is one of a kind and we get to enrich your children more deeply while learning through play! That is our motto here at TWCC. "Learning Through Play" Play-based learning allows children to grow intellectually while having a positive and fun learning experience because it is disguised as playing! How cool is that?
